Yeah, between school, and my 5 month old, I haven't submitted anything for like a month, but I HAVE been working on stuff. I have 3 fresh works almost ready to be posted. 2 finished...one not so much. I'm getting there though. For the 1 or 2 people that may have wondered....Just updating.....
The Art of Appeal
I'm just sitting here thinking....
How do we appeal to people as artists? What makes someone, anyone, stop and care long enough to absorb our art.
A strange thought?...
As I'm searching out groups to submit some of original work to, I can't shake the thought that people might be creeping through them and stealing OC's to use as their own character concept. I mean, I'm sure it happens, but I've often wondered to what degree. Just a paranoid thought I guess...but I'll bet I'm not the only one who's had it.
Figuring things out
So at this point, I've decided to make art a major priority in my life. I'll be reducing hours at my stressful job and begin creating things on a daily basis. It's one of those things where I look back at all the time that has passed and I think about all I could have accomplished if I had only put in the effort.....I don't wanna think about things that way, but it is what it is.
In art, it's difficult to find your way...or where you fit in these days.....at least for me anyway. I think I know what I can do and what I need to do to make things happen now.....
Fan Art and Furries....
You know.....Since it would bring me an unprecedented amount of attention....Maybe I would draw pictures of pokimon and wolf girls.....
Maybe if I didn't have a single original bone in my fucking body.......
Ugh....
